Purchasing and refining of punching waste with a precious metal coating

Punching waste containing precious metals is mainly generated by manufacturers of plug contacts, electroplating companies or assembly firms as a waste product Due to their electrical conductivity and physical robustness against abrasion and corrosion, electronic plug connections are often electroplated with gold and silver, and even with palladium/rhodium as necessary.

The base material is usually copper, brass, bronze or other non-ferrous alloys. We have been refining the precious metals found in punched strips, punched scrap and plug contacts (with and without plastic) since 1968. We can also strip the gold coating off beryllium bronze. We purchase scrap containing precious metals from across Europe.
